 – 1081 days inside the Ecuadorian Embassy.
Chelsea Manning has been in prison for 1835 days.  
Jeremy Hammond has been in prison for 1187 days.
Barrett Brown
has been in prison for 996 days.
A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1933 days.

  • Video is available of today’s Courage event in Berlin, “The digital surveillance state – Quo vadis, Democracy?” (starts @ 26:30). Speakers were Thomas Drake, Daniel Ellsberg, Jesselyn Radack, Coleen Rowley, Konstantin von Notz, Martina Renner, and Peter Schaar, with moderation by Sarah Harrison and introduction by Norman Solomon.
  • An article in New Republic discusses the TISA draft leaked by WikiLeaks and the worldwide implications it carries.
  • WikiLeaks has reached over half its $100,000 pledge goal for the release of the TPP chapters.

Julian Assange News:

  • A report into the Thomas Quick convictions, one of the biggest Swedish legal scandals in history which saw an innocent man convicted of eight murders, found that “groupthink” was behind the convictions and that the same people were involved in all the investigations.
    • Claes Borgström represented Quick during four trials which led to his conviction. Borgström is currently seeking the extradition of Julian Assange to Sweden.
    • Thomas Olsson who currently represents Quick (now Sture Bergwall) is also a lawyer to Assange.
