 – 1090 days inside the Ecuadorian Embassy.
Chelsea Manning has been in prison for 1844 days.  
Jeremy Hammond has been in prison for 1196 days.
Barrett Brown
has been in prison for 1005 days.
A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1942 days.

WikiLeaks News:

  • Sudan President Omar Hassan al-Bashir fled arrest by the ICC to South Africa and then returned safely back to Khartoum, Sudan. ICC has been trying to bring him to trial on charges of crimes against humanity for six years. WikiLeaks has 1379 documents on President Bashir.
  • Indonesian Vice-President Jusuf Kalla recently denounced bribery, but WikiLeaks cables suggest he has been involved in multiple bribery cases.

Julian Assange News:

  • The Swedish Prosecution submitted a request for permission to interview Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy during June or July 2015.
  • Julian Assange was part of a Q&A during a screening of “The Yes Men are Revolting” in New York. Video clips can be found here and here, and a summary article can be found here.
  • Julian Assange will speak at the Czech 19th International Documentary Film Festival in Jihlava this October.
  • Video is available of the Metropolitan Police Chief answering questions about the cost of the Ecuadorian Embassy Assange siege.
